Now Trending | From Runway to Everyday

Fall is all about the fresh trends off of Fashion Week; even more so as brands are taking their collections straight from the runway to the sidewalks with made-to-wear pieces. Although boho vibes, chokers, and all things velvet are still super popular among fashionistas, there are a few trending standouts making their way to the glossy front pages.

Not only are these trends some of my favorites, they’re also super easy to incorporate into daily life.

Mules

Blisters are SO 2015. Blame it on Gucci, but mules – in both flat and heeled versions – are making a huge comeback in late 2016. They have been modernized with embellishments (think buckles and beading) and are a glamorous update to the classic ballet flat. Add a good pedicure for your peeking toes  (or just go closed toe) and you’ve got yourself a comfortable and easy shoe for the office.

Dark Florals

This trend is definitely my favorite of the pack and one I’ve been loving for a while. Florals in Spring may be groundbreaking, but florals in Fall is brilliance. A guazy black version keeps things fresh while also is perfect for layering: think adding a structured blazer or cream sweater on chilly days.

Embroidery

Embroidery is definitely the most fun trend out there right now. Basic pieces are being transformed with patches and intricate stitches, allowing for tons of self expression. Isn’t that what style is all about? However if you’re not about the DIY approach then you’re in luck. Brands have been sending collated pieces out that are #GTG.

Nautical

When the Tommy Hilfiger + Gigi Hadid collaboration hit the runway everyone was abuzz. From high-rise jeans to Americana colors, the nautical inspiration was so apparent. This is a trend that anyone can wear and is so timeless. Uncle Sam would be proud.
