Tuesday’s Top Picks: Wedding Guest Attire

If you’re like me your Facebook feed is constantly flooded with engagement stores and your mailbox filled with wedding invites. Between all of the notifications I’ve learned to keep my closet stocked with floral dresses I can grab and hit the dance floor with. Thankfully I feel like the abundance of dresses online lately always allow for a great selection of twirl-ready attire.

Looking for something with a bit of volume without feeling overwhelmed? Go for a maxi or midi dress. The length is timeless and can be dressed up or down for the wedding dress code. I especially love midi dresses with an a-line silhouette and soft floral details. Pull your hair into a braided updo to focus on your face.

Still can’t get over the off the shoulder trend? That makes two of us. I love pairing this dress type with a chandelier earring to show off the collar bone. You can also select a style with long sleeves for those early Fall weddings to keep yourself warmed up on those cooler nights.

Are you the ultimate girly girl? Go for my favorite trend, feminine details, and look for something with lace, ruffles, or a delicate print. Soft waves and a swipe of pink blush add the finishing touches to a photo booth ready look.

Still undecided? Go for a classic design: something that nips in at the waist and flares out to the knee. Consider this your “LBD” of the wedding dress season. A solid color helps you to vary your accessories for the wedding season and easily coordinate with your dancing partner.

What trend are you loving the most this wedding season? Do you tend to shop online or in-person for special occasions? I personally love browsing sites: especially Nordstrom and Lulus. Let me know your shopping tips below!
