Pass the Glossier | Milky Jelly Cleanser, Soothing Face Mist, + Rose Balm Dotcom Review

Oh, Glossier. This is one of those companies I admire in many aspects. Between their Tumblr-worthy packaging, to their quality products, to their overall brand image, I’m a fan. You can tell the company really cares about what they put into their products and how it’s going to influence the end user. Who’s that by the way? Me. You. The girl next door. Anyone who appreciates skincare and beauty all in one.

My first order with them was a simple one. I wanted to dip my toe into the Pantone pink world, but experience what everyone in the beauty world has been raving about.

Here’s what I got.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser | This creamy cleanser is just what the doctor ordered for my skin. In the morning I apply 1.5 pumps and at nighttime I use 3 pumps of the cleanser as a second step: first removing my makeup with a micellar water. I massage the product into my dry skin first to melt away any residue, then wet my hands and work everything into a light lather. Once rinsed my skin is left feeling super soft and balanced. It doesn’t hurt that the faint rose smell is also killer. Only down-side is that the pump bottle is a bit too big for traveling, but I popped some into a little tub for recent trips. No biggie.

Glossier Soothing Face Mist | Made with rose water and aloe, this soothing spray is the perfect step after I cleanse my face (and before I moisturize). It leaves my skin feeling uber fresh and also is a great pick-me-up throughout the day. It also relieves my redness and balances things out. BONUS: I used this on sunburn recently and OMG it was magic! My burn was immediately relieved and I personally felt that it subsided so much quicker. Point of the story: products don’t have to just live on your face.

Glossier Balm Dotcom in Rose | Have I mentioned how I love how most of their products are rose scented? I swipe this pale pink hued balm on my lips when I need hydration. It leaves a glowing sheen, but isn’t enough to be considered a lip color. The formula also contains beeswax and castor seed oil to keep moisture locked in. With other flavors such as Coconut, Cherry, and Mint I definitely think I’ll expand my range…

Have you tried anything from Glossier yet? Which items do you love? I’ll definitely be re-ordering these (and maybe also the priming moisturizer, the face masks, the highlighter, and basically everything else on their site).

P.S. If you haven’t tried Glossier, and you’re looking to snag some be sure to use the link below – it gets you 20% off your first order! Now, go ahead and rock that #glossierpink.
