Rose Eyes with UD Naked 3

Lets take a break from the usual golden/bronze eye and introduce a new face to the lineup: rose. Although I tend to layer on the copper-toned “Trick” in my Urban Decay Naked3 palette (if you can’t tell from how I hit pan on just that shade), I’ve been leaning towards the lighter and pinky tones towards the left of the color queue. Add a punch of shimmer from the super inexpensive e.l.f. shadow in Soiree and it’s the perfect glammed up eye for daytime.

Step 1: Apply a eyeshadow primer to set a base. I prefer the Urban Decay Primer Potion in ‘Sin’. To add more depth to the color, use the Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeshadow Stick in ‘Amethyst’ and smudge over the lid.

Step 2: Apply a mix of ‘Nooner’ and ‘Limit’ on a tapered shadow brush and blend into crease.

Step 3: Smudge the e.l.f. Long Lasting Lustrous shadow all over lid (you may need to dig in a bit to get pigment).

Step 4: Highlight your tear duct and below the brow bone with your favorite highlighter, or ‘Dust’ or ‘Strange’ in the UD3 palette

Step 5: Load up on mascara – the Maybelline Lash Sensational in black is my favorite!

Step 6: Wink + enjoy!
