You know that feeling where you’re like “Yeah, this week is going to be super productive. I have everything scheduled out and lined up and it’s going to be great!”. Then you get hit with a busy schedule out of no where and everything falls apart? Yeah, this week is turning out to be like that.
Last week I got back into the swing of things but of course that never lasts long around here. That just means making sure I use every spare moment to “get shit done” (as Meg Biram would say) – and making sure I’m spending my nights unwinding a bit. With that in mind, content may be a bit sporadic but I wanted to keep a constant ebb and flow of things popping up here.
The easiest way to do that is to give a quick recap of my Instagram feed, since that’s always the first place I go to have a creative release. It also happens to be where I share my favorite things, and how they’re incorporated in my day-to-day.
Photos (Set One) Saturday is my favorite day of the week, so I always try to fill it with the things I love. This week was spent running some errands (including snagging this adorable succulent from Whole Foods), and taking photos with the new Ben Rector album in the background. | I have been using the Daddy’O shampoo from LUSH 2x’s weekly and it gives my hair the perfect cleanliness – while letting my natural blonde shine through. It also smells so dang good! | My night look has remained pretty standard as of lately: black top, skinny jeans, nude shoes, and a pop of color. I love this pink bag from Francesca’s since it has the most gorgeous detailing and is perfect for those final days of summer | With a busy week ahead, I like to keep things minimal and fresh on the face.
