September Favorites

Even looking at this picture just makes me happy. I’m officially a crazy person: makeup makes me happy. Whoops. But really, this month’s picks are so good! All of these products give that flawless face, soft lip, and sharp eye…

Face

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, Custard

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector, Champagne Pop

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, Dim Light

I’m currently testing out the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer but keep missing my NARS one. It is such a perfect consistency to cover up any dark circles or blemishes, and I don’t find it to be drying for me. I have a feeling I’ll be picking up another tube from Bleeker Street when were in NYC this weekend | The Champagne Pop hype is real people! And I’m totally into it. If you’ve ever seen Jaclyn’s glow you know that this stuff is worth it. It gives the perfect peachy/golden glow to my cheekbones and I also apply it to my inner eye and brow bone. As the queen herself would say: YAAASSS! | The ambient lighting powder is a cult classic, and for a good reason. I love how large the original product is (not the palette) and I’ve been using it as a setting powder for my makeup. It gives the perfect airbrushed look and is so lightweight – it barely feels like you’re wearing anything

Lips

Milani Color Moisture Matte Lipstick, Matte Darling

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss, Pango Peach

Too Faced La Creme Lipstick, Nude Beach

This Milani pick was a last minute grab-and-go at my local CVS. I’m not one for Matte lipsticks usually, but I couldn’t resist this one after I swatched it. It is not over-drying, has the perfect flush of color, and the packaging itself is just gorgeous. I’m hoping my store stocks up on more colors of these so I can stack them up (especially since they’re only $4!) | I was on my way to the beach when my NARS gloss in Super Orgasm exploded. Literally, the top cracked open and gloss was everywhere. After only having it for a month, I was a bit disappointed. However I saw this shade at the drugstore and was in awe of how perfect the color matches up to my NARS favorite. This gloss is so silky – without being sticky – and is super long lasting | I raved about the Too Faced La Creme lipsticks in my latest post but this shade takes the cake. I never thought I could find a nude color that worked without draining me out. The hint of peach in this shade does the trick, and it just smells so good!

Eyes

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, Trooper

Loreal 24-Hour Infallible Eyeshadow, Bronzed Taupe

Kat Von D’s line has been killin’ it lately, and this eyeliner is a major part of it. It’s super easy to apply, allows for precise application, is jet black in color, and stays all day long! I honestly don’t think I can find anything better at this price point, so I can see myself loving this for a while. Plus it has made getting that perfect ‘flick’ somewhat simple? What?! | You know how I love me a bronzed eye. This stuff is so velvety smooth and pigmented. I’ve been applying it with my fingers to my lids and blending it out for a soft smokey look. The color lasts all day long and doesn’t lose it’s metallic look. I also love how it feels like a sponge when you dab your finger in – so I have a feeling it’ll last for a long time!

Do any of your favorites for September match up with mine? If not, what have you been loving? Can’t wait for the fall shades in October to roll through!
