A day filled with cupcake + macaron tasting while strolling the romantic streets of Georgetown is 100% as amazing as it seems. Last weekend, myself and Lydia finally went on our tasting tour that we bought off of LivingSocial (shameless ex-employer plug). We visited several different sweet spots around the Georgetown streets (and got to sample all of the deliciousness):
Even though it was a warm July day for walking the cobbled streets, everything was still SO. GOOD. – my favorites definitely landed with GC for cupcakes and Olivia Macaron for macarons.
For the tour I wore my favorite bright midi skirt from LOFT and paired it with a simple white tee. It was a great way to combat the warm weather, while also fitting in with the elite fashion of the area. I snagged the matching bag Target when I popped in earlier this year – can you tell chartreuse has been my go-to color this season?
Have you ever been to any of these places? If so, what’s your favorite place to stop for sweets?
